Christmas Cake Pops



Make colorful Christmas cake pops using a range of toppings and flavors. Ideal for gift-giving and holiday parties!

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of cake mix flavor of your choice
  • 1/2 cup of frosting flavor that complements the cake
  • 1 package of candy melts Christmas colors
  • Assorted Christmas sprinkles
  • Lollipop sticks

Instructions:

Bake the cake as directed on the package, then allow it to cool fully

After the cake cools, crumble it into a big bowl

Mix the frosting thoroughly with the crumbled cake

Sufficient moisture is needed for the mixture to stay cohesive

Using a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, shape the mixture into small cake balls

Place lollipops inside each cake ball, then place in the freezer for half an hour to solidify

Melt the candy melts in different bowls as directed on the package

Let the excess candy drip off after dipping each cake pop into the melted confection

Before it hardens, cover the wet candy coating with Christmas sprinkles

To harden, return the decorated cake pops to the baking sheet

For each cake pop, repeat the dipping and decorating steps

Let the cake pops cool completely before assembling or storing
